Historic Downtown Georgetown into a Candyland Christmas Stroll
A Sweet Stroll Through Georgetown for a FREE THREE-DAY EVENT of festive fun.

- Friday, December 5: 4:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m.
- Saturday, December 6: 10:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m. (Parade begins at 10 a.m.)
- Sunday, December 7: 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
- Location: Historic Downtown Georgetown, TX
- Admission: FREE and open to the public
- Presented by: Downtown Georgetown Association with the support of the City of Georgetown and business sponsors and community partners.
- The Stroll and Parade is a rain-or-shine event. In the event of severe weather conditions, such as lightning or high winds, festival activities will be adjusted as warranted.

Free Event Parking
Please be sure to obey all “No Parking” signs on residential streets.
- The new Public Parking Garage at 502 S. Main St (closed Saturday 6th, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for parade route)
- The Williamson County Parking Garage at Third and Rock Streets
- The parking lot at Seventh and Rock Streets
- The parking lot at Eighth and Forest Streets
- The City parking lot on the west side of Austin Avenue at Fifth Street
Handicapped Parking – look for signs:
- The City parking lot at 10th and Main Streets reserved for handicapped parking.
- Additionally, the east side of the library parking lot at Eighth and Forest Streets will serve as an additional handicapped parking area.
- Please note: The parking lot at Sixth and Main Street will be closed December 5–8
Street Closures
- Austin Avenue will be closed from 6 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, until 12 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 8, between Sixth and Tenth streets.
- The Austin Avenue closure will expand from Second to Eleventh streets on Saturday, Dec. 6, between 6 a.m. and 12 p.m. for the Christmas Stroll Parade. The Austin Avenue detour will be on Rock Street.
- Main Street will be closed between Sixth and Tenth streets from 6 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, until midnight Monday, Dec. 8.
- Other streets around the Square will be closed starting at 6 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, through Monday, Dec. 8, until 12 a.m.
- Street closures include Sixth Street from Austin Avenue to Church Street. Seventh and Eighth streets from Rock to Church streets
