Who plans the Christmas Stroll?
The Downtown Georgetown Association (DGA) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit membership dedicated to promoting local Georgetown businesses. We amplify our members on social media, foster collaboration among businesses, organize premier events and promote Georgetown as a premier destination through Christmas Stroll, Market Days and First Friday Music on the Square events.
Is there admission for the Stroll, concerts or activities?
- The Stroll and all activities/concerts are free!
What are Stroll hours?
- Friday 5: 4:00 pm – 9:30 pm
- Saturday 6: 10:00 am – 9:30 pm
- Sunday 7: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Will there be a parade?
- Yes, there will be a parade on Saturday, December 6th at 10 a.m.
- The parade is rain or shine
- Parade applications are closed
Who is playing at the concerts?
Where are the music/performance stages?
- Jingle Bell Stage is at Austin Ave and 7th Street
- Silver Bell Stage is at Main Street and 6th Street
- Founder's Park is at 158 E. Ninth Street
Where is Bethlehem Village?

The event is a free, family-friendly re-enactment of 1st-century Bethlehem. Confirm dates, hours and details available at gcnaz.org.

Will the weather alter the festival schedule?
- Safety first – While many activities will continue rain or shine. High winds, lightning or downpours may require some set-time adjustments.
- Updates, including delays or cancellations will be posted on our Facebook: @GTXChristmasstroll and IG @DGA_GTX pages.
Where can I purchase a Christmas Stroll t-shirt?
- T-shirts are $10 each cash or credit
- Purchase at DGA booth located at the Courthouse East Stairs on Main Street across from Hydrate.
Will there be Food & Shopping?
- Yes! Local restaurants and food vendors will be open, offering seasonal treats and meals.
- Yes! Downtown shops and over 200 holiday market booths will be open with unique gifts and crafts.
Can we bring coolers with food and beverages?
- Yes, but no glass containers.
Can I bring my own chairs, umbrellas or canopy?
- Portable folding chairs are permitted. Umbrellas or canopies will not be allowed
Where is the handicapped parking location?
- The City parking lot at 10th and Main Streets reserved for handicapped parking.
- Additionally, the east side of the library parking lot at Eighth and Forest Streets will serve as an additional handicapped parking area.
- Please note: The parking lot at Sixth and Main Street will be closed December 5–8
- Lot on Austin near Fifth Street
- Parking Garage at Third and Rock Streets
- Municipal lot between Seventh and Eighth Streets near the Library
- Handicapped parking only at Church and Tenth and also at Eighth and Forest Streets
- A placard or license plate designation will be required.
Where can we park?
- Free public parking.
- Obey all “No Parking” signs on residential streets.
- The new Public Parking Garage at 502 S. Main Street (closed for parade route Sat 6th from 8am-12pm)
- The Williamson County Parking Garage at Third and Rock Streets
- The parking lot at Seventh and Rock Streets
- The parking lot at Eighth and Forest Streets
- The City parking lot on the west side of Austin Avenue at Fifth Street
Where can guests check for lost - found items?
- Items can be turned in at the DGA booth located at the Courthouse East Stairs at Main Street across from Hydrate.
Where is the first-aid station?
- First responders will be available at the first-aid booth located at 7th & Main Street
Are dogs welcome at the Christmas Stroll?
- Yes, but pets must be on a leash to ensure everyone’s safety.
Where can I find an ATM machine?
- First Texas Bank at 900 S. Austin Ave, Georgetown
