Individuals not part of the approved event lineup or not holding a valid sound permit are not permitted to operate amplified music or sound within the event zone.

    The Georgetown Main Street Program invites you to be part of the 16th Annual Georgetown Swirl, a Texas Downtown Association (TDA) Presidents Award-winning Texas wine, local food, and downtown shopping celebration, on the Georgetown Square. This year, we are celebrating the Georgetown Swirl's "Sweet Sixteen!" The Georgetown Swirl will include tastings from Texas wineries as well as amazing food from local restaurants located inside the fabulous downtown retail stops. Each attendee will receive a commemorative tasting glass and will have wine samples and a tasting at each of the participating restaurants. The retail locations will have Swirl shopping specials for guests, so treat yourself to a few things while you’re out swirling around downtown! 

    The event will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, with event hours from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for VIP guests and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for General Admission. This year features a festive "Sweet 16" theme, and guests are encouraged to dress accordingly.

    A total of 550 General Admission tickets are available for $60 each, keeping the event an intimate gathering. VIP TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT.

    All attendees will enjoy tastings from Texas wineries, curated local restaurant samples, and exclusive shopping specials at participating downtown retail stops. Each guest will receive a commemorative tasting glass and can select 10 wine samples, plus a tasting at each participating restaurant location.

    This is a rain or shine event. All proceeds benefit the Georgetown Main Street Façade and Sign Grant Program, which has reinvested more than $700,000 in matching grant funds into downtown property and business improvements over 20 years.

    The Red Poppy Festival has hosted a who’s who of artists and bands throughout the last few decades and this year promises to be better than ever. With live performances, all three stages will be heating up and turning out the good time vibes.
